SECOND LISTED SUCCESS FOR PRINCE LANCELOT

------------

Kicking off a wonderful start to the month of May, the team at Chappet Racing celebrated yet another success from our rock-solid PRINCE LANCELOT (Sir Prancealot), who took the Listed Prix Servanne (1,200m) at Chantilly on Tuesday. Now a dual Listed winner, Prince Lancelot has been an admirable money-spinner for his owner Antoine Gilbert and on Monday, the four-year-old recorded a fifth success from just thirteen career starts.

Following a well-deserved winter break, Prince Lancelot made a winning return to action at Chantilly last month and it was extremely promising to see him record back-to-back successes so early in the campaign.

Bred by Ecurie Skymarc Farm, he was given an inspired ride by Stephane Pasquier who held the colt up early on, before challenging under hands and heels to win snugly.
Enjoying his recent return to sprinting, dual Listed winner Prince Lancelot is also Gr.3 placed and has proven himself well capable of competing at the highest level. Monday’s success took the colts career earnings to over €130,000 and it is possible that he could now step back up in grade, with races such as the Gr.2 Prix du Gros-Chene on “Jockey Club” weekend firmly on Prince Lancelot’s agenda.

Duchess secures across the card double
Just touched off at Fontainebleau last month, our three-year-old filly
Duchess Of Dubai (Sea The Stars) broke her maiden over 2,200m at Nancy on Monday, in impressive style.

Making it a double on the day for Chappet Racing, the filly was given a positive ride by Alexis Pouchin and romped home to a six-length success.

Out of a Listed-placed mare, Duchess Of Dubai was purchased for €180,000 as a yearling at Arqana and is owned in partnership by Ecurie Des Monnaies, Sydney Vidal, Emmanuel Boutin, Sebastien Defontaine, Ecurie Harakiri and Clément Troprès.
