1er Prix Kenway (Maiden) - Vichy

Stormy Donald (Hello Youmzain) showed both progression and determination to break his maiden at the second time of asking in the Prix Kenway over 1,400m at Vichy. Sixth on debut over 1,100m at Chantilly, the colt stepped up in trip and showed a whole new face.
Drawn widest of all, he jumped smartly and was sent forward by Simon Planque to take the lead. Pressured all the way up the long Vichy straight, he fought off all challengers and found extra in the final 100m to score by half a length.
