1st – Prix de la Chapelle (Debutantes) – Longchamp

A highly sought-after maiden race reserved for unraced 2-year-old fillies, the Prix de la Chapelle drew ten runners… and Safia (Sottsass) showcased her class with a four-length victory! Breaking well from the gates, Safia was eased back by Cristian Demuro to settle in the pack. Through a series of lead changes, she found herself three wide and without cover after 600 meters. Advancing steadily along the outside, she moved up in the false straight. Once well-balanced in the home straight, she took the lead with ease and pulled clear. She was named a JDG Rising Star.
