ANOTHER STRONG CAMPAIGN FOR CHAPPET RACING TWO-YEAR-OLD’S
------------
An emphatic winner of this seasons Grand Prix de Paris (Gr.1) and runner-up in the Irish Champion Stakes (Gr.1), Chappet Racing’s flagbearer ONESTO (Frankel) is an excellent example of the yards ability to produce juvenile debut winners, whilst all the while continuing to nurture them through to the highest level over the years to follow. The exceptional colt made a winning debut at Chantilly as a two-year-old in 2021 and now boasts a rating of 55 (121 UK).
With this in mind, it is exciting to note that the team at Chappet Racing have been extremely successful with their two-year-old crop in 2022, with 16 wins in 2022.
Precocious and full of speed, Hisaaki Saito’s GOOD GUESS (Kodiac) was amongst the earlier juveniles to find his way into the winner’s enclosure. The handsome colt was a quickfire winner of his first two starts at Chantilly and returned from a break recently to land an excellent third place at Listed level.
GAIN IT passed the post in front for her first two racecourse starts. She is a full-sister to the yards Gregarina and should make her presence felt in stakes level throughout 2023.
Carrying the colours of Haras d’Etreham, in partnership with Riveria Equine, PAZ (Siyouni) remains unbeaten after two starts and she looks to sure to be targeted towards some of the bigger prizes next term, much like the unbeaten Khalifa Mohammed Al Attiyah owned homebred AL MUNDHER (Toronado) who doubled his tally at Chantilly recently and may be a colt to follow for the classics in the new year.
EMPHATIC (Showcasing), AMANDAS CHOICE (Brazen Beau), GAME ON (Almanzor), ALMIRGAB (Starspangledbanner) and KING OF RECORDS (Sea The Stars) have al been excellent money spinners for their connections across the year, while recent winners FORTUNE (De Treville) and BLESS (Toronado) can continue to progress through the ranks, following their respective victories last time out.
So far, 2022 has been an enjoyable and successful season in terms of juvenile performers. We wish to express both our congratulations and gratitude to all connections involved.
